Greetings! I was told “The best gifts come in small packages.” That’s so true. Karen Holman and I wish to give a heartfelt THANKS to the Mississippi River District for the wonderful Christmas gift. I also want to Thank Rev. Ed Weston, Chair of Episco, (Opps), Superintendency Committee (inside joke) for his words of encouragement and support.
Also, we wish to Thank everyone for coming out to our District Christmas Fellowship. I had a blast. Thanks to Lebanon United Methodist Church and Pastor Kimberly Hagedorn for hosting. Food was wonderful, Hilltop Glory Band was good; the Fellowship was tremendous.
We know ministry and life can get a little stressful at times, however, I believe laughter is good for the soul and a healing agent. Laughter is wonderful in relieving stress and calming spirits. A smile on your face even removes wrinkles (So I was told.). Smile! Laugh! We serve an Awesome God that is worth smiling about. Rekindle the spirit within you and with joy feel God’s Spirit of laughter. Walk this through this Season of Advent remembering God’s Gift in Christ Jesus. After all, Jesus did defeat the enemy. That’s worth smiling about! Praise the Lord!
Joy to the World!
